A Two Days Work shop for farmers, entrepreneurs and individuals on Cultivation, Post Harvest Management & Entrepreneurship Aspects of Medicinal Plants organized in Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University in collaboration with National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB), AYUSH, GOI from 7-8 December, 2020 .

The event was inaugurated by Hon'ble Chairperson madam JV'n Vidushi Garg Ji with lamp lighting then Farmers participated in the training were informed by Agricultural Scientists Prof. Ramkumar, Dr. Kamala Nagar and Dr. Pramod Dutt Sharma about the importance of medicinal plants, plant maintenance, market distribution and different soil varieties through PPT presentation. Experts also shared that the demand for medicinal plants in the market is increasing day by day. Farmers can not only earn good money by cultivating it, but can also contribute to society. Later the farmers were also taken to the nursery of the University and information was given about the medicinal and commercial use of the plants planted in the Nursery. Experts also solved the problems faced by the farmers in the cultivation of the plants.
