JV Mantra Day [Green- Clean-Happiness] 20 May,2023

18 May, 2023 : Under the community development activities being run under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, students of Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University participated in waste management activities to celebrate JV Mantra Day Green-Clean-Happiness
University’s Waste Management Activity Theme for the Month of May 2023 is “Preparation of Handmade Paper Sheets & Paper Bags and creating Beautiful Bird Houses from Waste Material/Items.” These two-day activities started from 18th May where students participated in making handmade paper sheets and paper bags from waste material/items and making bird house from waste material. These bird houses would later be hung on the trees of the university, so that birds could take shelter in these houses.
In a significant stride towards promoting sustainability and combating paper waste, University has developed a ground breaking recycling process Under University Startup Centre- Punar Janam that converts paper waste into high-quality paper. This innovative technique marks a remarkable achievement in the field of recycling. With the growing awareness of environmental issues and the increasing demand for sustainable alternatives, this breakthrough in paper recycling ushers in a new era of responsible production and consumption. By harnessing the potential of paper waste, we can significantly reduce our ecological footprint while simultaneously meeting our paper needs.

on the Second Day of Waste Management Activities of the month, students of Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University, Jaipur prepared beautiful creative Bird Houses under their CDA activities . Also prepared Paper Bags through Recycling Process. Students transformed their creative ideas on converting unused or waste material into bird houses for providing a safe place for birds to build their nests, protected from the elements and predators. In the summer month, these bird houses protect them from heat weaves.
